Welcome,

If this is your first visit to Obsidian Dragon, you are most likely wondering who we are and what we do. Simply put, we are a group of people spread throughout the world with a similar interest: PC games.

Obsidian Dragon has a long and honorable history in online gaming, having been founded on February 4th of 2001, by OD-UNICRON and OD_HELLFIRE; OD has been active in the PC gaming community ever since. Originally formed for MechWarrior 4, OD has supported various games over the years, including the Jedi Knight, Battlefield and Call of Duty series.

Obsidian Dragon strives to provide a home for its members. OD is a place where members can chat about games, hold friendly conversations on our forums, and participate in online tournaments & practice matches. Obsidian Dragon also currently provides TeamSpeak 3 and Ventrilo servers for our members (see our Member forums or the Server section of our website for more information).

We accept members of all skill levels and play styles, though we prefer members be at least age 14 to be considered for membership. Obsidian Dragon gaming ranges from FPS, RPG's, RTS to MMO's, Our members play a variety of game types.

We do all this for the love of PC gaming, and more importantly, for the love of participating in our ever expanding community. We are all volunteers, so the cost to join and participate is completely free, though donations are welcome to help keep things running.

Obsidian Dragon SWTOR Guild

As many of you know we decided to form our own SWTOR Guild back in July. This past week several things have occurred with that.
1. The guild reached its target goal of 20 members before launch.
2. The guild is now ready to be ported into the game. What that means is when any of you that registered with the guild will be given the option to have your first character placed on the guilds predetermined server. I will be getting an email this week notifying us what the name of that server will be.
3. We have 3 allied guilds with a total membership of 50. We have 1 adversary guild for those who want a little PVP. These guilds should all be ported onto our server with us at launch.

We still have some work to do to get ourselves end game ready though. I would like to see us have at least 30 members within 2 weeks post launch.

I have asked people to post what classes they intend to play and what crafting skills they plan to take up at this time.... [Read More]

OD-BONECRUSHER has been promoted to Officer!

I am excited to be the one to post this -- BONECRUSHER has just become the BF3 Officer!

I have to say that personally I think he's probably been the most active of all our newer members (and older members ) this past month. Every single time I've gotten on the forums or vent there he was playing BF3 and having a good time. I commend you sir! Congratulations

OD-DawnAngel joins the admin team!

I am happy to report that one of our oldest members (time in clan, not age ), OD-DawnAngel, has recently joined the Site Administration team! This is a great relief for yours truly as DawnAngel will be helping with all aspects of website and forum administration. All support requests should be made in the 'Website' Forum, and one of our admins will address it as soon as possible.

Congrats DawnAngel! You now get the use of a shiny new rank.
